Court Representation in the AIFC Court
The AIFC Court hears civil and commercial disputes under AIFC law, which is based on English common law, as well as disputes submitted to its jurisdiction by agreement of the parties.
We represent clients before the AIFC Court in the following categories of disputes:

Disputes between AIFC participants
including shareholders, members, partners, and other persons registered in the AIFC.

Disputes between AIFC participants and AIFC bodies
including the AIFC Administration, the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA), and other AIFC authorities.

Disputes arising out of transactions and operations carried out within the AIFC and governed by AIFC law
including service agreements, investment and financial transactions, shareholders’ and other corporate agreements, and related matters

Disputes involving foreign employees of AIFC entities,
including employment and employment-related disputes falling within the jurisdiction of the AIFC Court.

International commercial disputes submitted to the AIFC Court
under an opt-in jurisdiction clause.

Cases relating to the interpretation and application of AIFC acts
including applications for the interpretation of AIFC regulations.

In addition, we provide support in mediation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings conducted through the International Arbitration Centre of the AIFC (IAC), where pre-trial settlement is a priority.
